I’ve been checking out a lot of photographers blogs lately. I find them very educational and motivating. Right now I’m enjoying following Velvet Owl Photography. They currently are posting a series called “Women In Business”. They interview photographers and ask them all kinds of questions about their business. The post I am specifically loving is an interview Velvet Owl Photography did with Two Chicks Photography.
What fascinates me about Two Chicks Photography is that it’s a business shared by two women – hence the name Two Chicks – I’m assuming anyways.
They were strangers who had similar styles and views when it came to photography and what they wanted out of a business. I personally love the idea! I think it’s great that they work together, help each other, create together and appreciate each other. I think it would be nice to have an extra set of eyes and ears around and would welcome ideas to take my photography to the next level. I am always reading from other photographers that they have no family time and that the photography business is very demanding and time-consuming. Two Chicks Photography seem to have a nice set up. They work together to be productive and at the same time schedule time off for editing and make time for vacations. They can also cover for each other if needed. Sounds like a dream come true partnership to me.
Check out the post. I hope you enjoy it as I did.
