My son had his girlfriend over today! And I got to catch up with a good friend. Every time they visit I always find myself wishing we lived closer to each other.

Hopefully they grow up to good friends like their mommy’s are.

Little Boy Blue

I found this great little bucket in the home section of Marshalls. It was so cheap! Only $10. How can you beat that? I had been looking for a blue one for a while. I wanted something that I could use for toy storage in his room after I was done taking a few pictures.

Car Ride Eyes

Today after we got home from a yummy lunch out I went to take “C” out of the car seat and as I looked across the back seat at him I saw the sweetest baby blues sleepily looking back at me. And then noticed he was barefoot, which makes this picture even more perfect to me because I love his little piggy toes! It made me melt…

I had my camera bag near me and decided to snap off a few of him. This is an example of why I love bringing my camera with me every where I go. You never know when you may see something you never want to forget.

Swings

Baby “C” goes on the swings at the park for the first time. He LOVED it! He was still a little on the small side for them so I was little paranoid to even let go long enough to take the pictures. And let me add it wasn’t easy capturing smiles when the target was moving so fast. But when the swing slowed down the smiles faded and fussy started until I would push him again.

What’s Out Of Place Here?

Today “C” is only drinking water with about an ounce or two of juice since nothing else is staying down. He’s had a few rice snacks but that’s about it. When he has had enough he definitely lets you know. He will throw it back you, push your hand away or make an awful face – which is still an awfully cute face!

Rainy Day Blues

As you know my boyfriend is sick with the flu…I believe today is the 6th day now. He’s starting to feel a little better so that’s good. It’s a rainy day today and “C” wanted to visit his Daddy so I brought him in our room and let him say hello quick. He loves climbing up the pillows and looking out the window. And as his Mommy you know that I think it’s adorable. Just like everything else that he does. He’s just at such a fun age now and is really showing his own personality.

When he is trying to climb up the pillows he has such a look of determination on his face. You would think he’s trying to climb mount Everest.

Oh Sunny Day!

My boyfriend has been sick with the flu for 4 days now! He’s been in bed for 99.7% of the 4 four days! So our little monkey misses him so much. He just sits outside the bedroom or bathroom door – which ever Daddy is in. It just breaks my heart. So today I was outside playing with my little man and Daddy wanted to get out of bed for a little bit so I spread out a blanket for him and he soaked up the rays and fresh air. “C” was so happy to see him. I snapped a few pictures of them playing peek a boo before Daddy had to go back to bed. And I was shooting in Aperture Priority. Practice, practice, practice…right?! : )

Happy Easter!

A few days ago I went to Home Goods on my lunch break and found a fabulous trunk! I saw it and instantly knew I had to have it! Not only can I use it in pictures but I can also store my props in it. I have so many hats and blankets from old pictures I’ve taken of “C” and all the wonderful stick lips & mustaches from Maro Designs in boxes so it will be nice to give them a home.

Today it was nice out so I thought perfect timing to bring my little man outside for some pictures. I put on his bunny onesie from Bubba & Lulu (Etsy) and grabbed some fresh carrots and the new trunk. Here are the pictures:
